Monthly Service Fee
The monthly fee for Independent Living covers the meal program, weekly housekeeping, yearly heavy cleaning, maintenance of your apartment and common areas, cable television, scheduled transportation, 24-hour security, all utilities, the assistance-in-living program, and a full schedule of recreational and social activities. A second person monthly fee is charged when two people are living in the same apartment. It covers the additional cost of meals, utilities, maid service, and assistance-in-living services, etc.
In 2012, the Monthly Service Fees range from $1,818 - $3,798. The second person monthly fee is $660.
Flexible Meal Program
A $400 per person meal allowance is included in the monthly service fee, which you may use any way you wish. A continental breakfast is complimentary and is not debited against your meal allowance. You may enjoy lunches and dinners, catered parties, entertain guests or take out a meal for a picnic - the choice is up to you.
