Holiday Party Beef Tenderloin
- Tie (you can ask your butcher to do this step) and season a beef tenderloin. I use garlic and cracked black pepper.
- Before cooking beef, sear it on all sides to give it a nice brown crust. This helps to keep in the natural juices and decreases cooking time.
- Cook the roast beef at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes. The internal temperature should be 125 degrees. (If, like me, you have a convection oven, cook it at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.)
- Allow the meat to rest for at least 15 minutes before carving so the juices can redistribute throughout the beef.
- Enjoy your beef tenderloin with your company!
Sincerely,
